The CURE Foundation
The CURE Foundation is powered by the energy of giving and may be best known for its national event: National Denim Day. In 1997, the CURE Foundation inaugurated NATIONAL DENIM DAY, an event held annually on the Tuesday following Mother's Day. Businesses, organizations and institutions across Canada encourage employees, members and/or students to wear denim in return for a $5.00 donation. We encourage everyone to donate $5 and wear denim!
The Bras Family Foundation
The Bras Family Foundation is dedicated to creating a more humanitarian environment for cancer patients. The Foundation has a particular interest in supporting services for cancer patients and in complementing the work of The Robert & Maggie Bras and Family New Drug Development Program at Princess Margaret Hospital.
The Lotte & John Hecht Memorial Foundation
Since 1962, the Lotte & John Hecht Memorial Foundation has been supporting charitable causes. From an initial mandate of promoting economic education and assisting those in need, the foundation has added to its objectives investigation and support of complementary and alternative medicine, particularly in the treatment of cancer
The Harold E. Ballard Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation whose mission it is to address social problems at their roots and to make a difference for those most vulnerable among us. Brock University Student Union raised funds during breast cancer awareness month. From “ BreastFast", an all-you-can-eat breakfast, to the Isaacs’ ‘Pink Party’, Brock students bought t-shirts and attended a number of events to raise money for breast cancer patients and raise awareness about the financial challenges that accompany a diagnosis.
Twice a year, Fashion Magazine's beauty department invites the staff of St. Joseph’s Media to a BIg Beauty Sale. One hundred percent of the proceeds are generously donated to the Support Fund.
